DAKOTA Bison and Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
1lb ground bison or beef browned
1 yellow onion and 3 cloves garlic chopped and sautéed in olive oil
4 c water 1 tbsp thyme - bring to boil add 3 bullion cubes
Then bison, 2 handfuls green beans, 3 carrots, 5 potatoes I used ruby and white
Simmer on med 20 min
Add 1 cup corn and 1 can stewed tomatoes
Simmer 10- 15 min until potatoes are done
Serve with garlic toast and merlot
